Lauki in any form has always been hailed by diet and health expert for its health benefits specially if you want to lose weight. A little bit of creativity can result in some lip-smacking preparations that can wow your family. Here are my 4 healthy, delicious 4 Lauki Breakfast Recipes.

1. Lauki Paratha

Ingredients:-

2 cups barley flour
1 cup grated Lauki / bottle gourd
Salt to taste
(Other spices of your choice)

Directions:-
Mix the flour and grated Lauki add spice and prepare a nice semi soft. Rest the dough for 15min, knead again and prepare you healthy Parathas or roti from the dough.

2. Lauki Oats Dosa

1/2 Cup Quick Oats
1 cup Lauki chopped
1/2 cup rice flour
1 cup sour Curd
Water as required
Salt to taste.

Directions:-
Grind oats to make oat flour ..in a bowl add oats flour and rice flour
Grind Lauki to make puree…Add Lauki Puree to the flour mixture..add Curd …and let the mixture rest for 15 minuets..now add salt and water …make a batter of running consistency. Spread the batter on a hot tava or pan and spread in circular motion. Cook on medium to low heat from both side until golden brown.Serve with your favourite Chutney

3. Lauki chilli
1 cup besan
1 cup Lauki Puree
Water as required
Some fresh coriander
(Other spices of choice)

Directions:-
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and make a semi thick batter. Spread the batter on a hot tava or pan in circular motion. Cook on medium to low heat until Nicely cooked and crisp. Serve with your favourite Chutney.
