Why not make your own teddy cake?

Ingredients:

2 Cans Black Beans
1 Onion
3 Garlic Cloves
1 Red Chilli Pepper
7.7 oz (220g) Carrots
2.25 oz (65g) Bread Crumbs
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
4 tbsp Sweet Corn
1 tsp Cumin
1/2 tsp Coriander
1/2 Chilli Powder
Sriracha (Hot Sauce)
Salt and Black Pepper

Method:

Peel and dice the Onion and place in bowl. Take 3 Garlic Cloves and crush using the back of a spoon. Peel and finely chop the Cloves and place in the bowl. Take 1 Red Chilli Pepper, finely chop and add to the bowl.

Pour the contents of the bowl into a frying pan and fry on a medium heat (you may need to add some oil or water to avoid sticking). Stir in Cumin, Coriander and Sriracha (add more or less depending on how spicy you want your burgers).

Grate the Carrots and pour into the pan. Stir in the Chilli Powder and season with Salt and Pepper to taste.

Rinse and drain the Black Beans, place into a mixing bowl and mash using a masher or hand blender. Then add the frying pan mixture, Bread Crumbs and mix together with Soy Sauce and Sweet Corn.

Use the mixture to form 2 regular patties and 1 large patty. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, remove from freezer and fry the patties on a medium heat for 10 minutes (flipping once after 5 minutes).

Place the patties on your burger buns and top with cheese slices (Bean used non-dairy slices), Tomato, Lettuce and Tomato Sauce.

Decorate with Black Olives and a slice of Pickle.
