Quick and Easy Shahi Paneer Recipe. Paneer Recipes are very common and popular dishes in India.
cottage cheese -250 g
2 onion+15 cashew nuts+2-3 green chillies(fine paste)
2 tomatoes(fine paste)
1 tbsp heaped ginger garlic paste
4 tbsp yogurt 4-5 tbsp cream or malai
100 g milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
4-5 tbsp pure ghee or plane ghee or oil or butter
1 tsp shah zeera
3 green cardamom
1 black cardamom
8-10 black pepper corn
4-5 clove
1 bay leaf
2 small cinnamon stick


Heat a pan add ghee, add whole spices and saute it for few seconds.
Add onion, cashew and green chili paste, fry it for 3-4 min. on medium flame.
Add ginger and garlic paste. fry it for 2 min till the raw smell vanishes.
Add red chili powder, salt and garam masala powder.
 Fry it till the water gets dry and oil comes on surface.
Add yogurt and cream. Fry again till the oil comes on surface,
Add paneer, fry for 2-3 min.  Add milk, bring a boil on high flame, simmer the flame and cook for 5-7 min. Cover it with a lid.
 Serve hot with roti, paratha or chapati.
